The party spends the next two weeks focusing on downtime.
Hilda calls forth the party and they find Herman and Moldra. The party is going to head towards a druid grove and see if they might be able to help with their electrical issues. Several months ago there was a paper published by the artificers guild - Graham Noot - he was always curious about new innovative ideas and discovered a village called Everwood Haven. They worked together and came up with the vines - Minotaur druid woman named Luisa Nizana. Graham arrived 6 months ago. Mainly a village of beastkin and nomadic. They move around a lot. Energy output triples with the fiber from the specific plants.
Tobias has been behaving himself and Kazim is giving him the bombastic side-eye to ensure he’s being good.

The surrounding jungle is full of life and sounds. They take the boat towards shore where a small group of individuals are fishing. A Tabaxi and Owlin (Ren) spot them and greet the party. A lot of individuals have been coming to the village since the discovery of the vines.
Walking down the path towards the village, there are many wooden houses and druids performing druidcraft to make their everyday lives easier. Everyone greets them with a warm smile and wave.
A small home towards the center of town where the chief lives. An elder Harengon, Thelar. Luisa has been reluctant to share her knowledge with individuals. Alander - friend of Luisa - Loxadon He leads the party towards Luisa’s home. The party informs her of the ship - but she declines. Their people don’t need the same things the rest of the country does. The weapons in Caius, the guns etc… Luisa doesn’t want to be a part of it.
The root system in the area - when treated properly - becomes translucent conductors / alloys. It will illuminate and create a colourful effect. The vines then are able to transfer magical energy. Napinthy Plant. They’re carnivorous plants. “When you live in the land of the plenty, there’s lots to share.”
The party goes to meet Alander. Luisa used to spend all day together with Alander… Now she isn’t interested anymore. After the first person came - the main city’s fleet - Luisa seemed to be distant.

Reason we have rain. “Rain is a group effort.” There’s a temple, a day or two travel, to Thina in the jungle. She is known to grant individuals favours. Jungle is extremely lush - day or two travel. Predatory creatures lurk in the jungle but keeping distance will make it easier. Overgrown and been there before the druids arrived. Overgrown inside and out.

Hazel and Excalibur investigate the roots They discover its magical properties are very complex Vaelyn visits Alander His mother was a medicine woman. She passed her knowledge to him. Vaelyn inquires about local herbs or plants.
After a while Excalibur and Hazel visit Alander and find Vaelyn.They go to see Luisa and try to convince her of what the party is trying to accomplish. Hazel keeps pushing her and she begins to grow angry. She takes off her bracelet to reveal she’s a cursed coven witch and is still trying to do good. She doesn’t have the best magic abilities because of the curse but she wants to try and help.
Excalibur casts detect magic and discovers Luisa is covered with transmutation magic along with two other humanoids outside. Luisa roars and darkness seeps out of her.
