The party engages in combat with the large creature and various vines sprout from the ground surrounding the party.

They defeat the large creature and discover at the end of the hall in the temple it was trying to protect is a large pod - Louisa is inside. There is a large Thina statue holding her hand out with what appeared to be a flower growing in her hand. Everything is worn away after time and weather. In the middle, where the creature grew from before is a small garden. A small plaque is withered - “This small flower, blessed by the light of goddess, holds the darkness at bay. Archdruid Itkeo.” Gods in the world are depicted with a gold mask and a symbol associated with their theme. They used to be depicted with more human features.

Jasiri walks up and tries to pry open the pod to get her out but it doesn’t open. When that doesn’t work, the party chooses to kill the plant realizing the plant has been corrupted. Jasiri pulls her out. Louisa begins to wake up. The party fills her in on the situation. Graham left by the time she went out here. When they worked together, they figured out the roots were able to transmit magical energy signals and she figured out that you could communicate through them. She tried to reach out to the plants and they beckoned her here. She points to the flower in the temple -when investigating it, it pulled her in. The plant wasn’t here last time she visited.

The party chooses to rest for the rest of the day - They set up camp inside of the temple. The river of acid is now starting to clear and cleanse itself of the gunk.

[Praying to the Gods] Louisa is able to druidcraft flowers for everyone to begin in prayer.

A small flower emerges from the soil where Louisa just grew them for the party. A small yellow daisy. Gigas responds - Hope feeling? Curiosity - hope? Seems to want to touch the flower. The group agrees and Hazel wraps her fingers around the stem of the daisy. The wispy vines wrap around her finger and can feel some sort of magic running through it trying to touch her magic. Trying to sense who she is what she is. She casts druidcraft and there is a feeling of a hug. There’s pity. Gigas wants to reach out and Hazel reaches through her - overlapping through her and weaving its way into the small vines. The contact Hazel has with Thina is hit like a hammer by Gigas - excited to meet. The amount of magic flowing through Hazel is immense and powerful. Who are you….. Vines shootout trying to kill Hazel. She stops the vines and Hazel becomes possessed and smashes the statue of Thina. She regains her control again after the statue is destroyed. The Titans and the Gods were at odds. Gigas was excited and filled with hope to meet Thina - then there was confusion.

Vaelyn on the platform the statue now stands. There are small faces in a row wrapping around the base. One of them looks like it is askew and consistent smoke is coming out of it. The faces themselves - the one that opens - has a vague resemblance to the portrait of the woman in the hallway from his dreams.

  1. The face that pops off - Vaelyn takes it along with the raven skull amulet.
  2. Looking through the hole, there is a small object inside. Hidden in the statue. It appears to be a small carved stone in the shape of a raven skull. With a small feather hanging from the bottom that is creating the smoke. 2.5. - Pull it out. The raven skull, though not used often, is typically used by Zola - the goddess of death.
  3. If possible try to breathe and breathe in the smoke. Doing so, it is an odd sensation to have his lungs filled again for the first time. As he breathes it. It is pushing back whatever is consuming his body ever so slightly = the corruption within Vaelyn.
